here is a short compositing of my first realtime character, i've made so far.

    Your target tris should be closer to 10,000, and even higher if you can like 20,000 tris. If this is a personal project, push more triangles, unless this is meant for mobile or a really low-spec game.

    I would be careful displaying your model against a black background. Right now the form in the shadows is getting lost. I would go with something lighter so I could read the silhouette of the overall model.

    thx so far for feedback!
    yes, i googled after realtime - polycount and know that's normal to model with a lot of more tris, but it was for a little game at university and our "lead artist" wanted a maximum of 1000 tris. so he got it :D (nearly)

    and thx for the tip with the background, i will remember and lern :)
