I am wondering if in Maya there is a "Adjust Loops" tool similar to 3ds Max. When you pick a loop and use the up and down arrows it pinches or expands the edges on either side of selected loop.
Bugo thanks for the reply. I use these methods all ready. I was just hoping that I was missing this function somewhere in Maya's interface or someone had a mel script.
ODins3d the slide edge tool is not quite the same. With Max's adjust loop tool it adjusts both edges on either side of selected edge at the same time. Maya is just sliding the selected edge.
ya closest thing maya has is the "offset edge loop tool", but it creates loops on both sides of a selected loop, dosnt edit them unless you got this tool in your history stack and can edit it's offset value.
it;s a cool tool for dropping support edges, but not so great for editing them.
