My company is looking for a new 3D environmental artis, so here is the job offer :
3D Modelling Expert
Fortem is expanding its sales team and is looking for a 3D Modelling Expert to create new 3D models for customers and prospects all over the world.
Your challenge: using our Omnipresence 3D line of products and other 3D tools, you will build and simulate a large variety of 3D models. You will also use mock-up, scenario building and computer animation tools to produce highly realistic models and videos to help the sales teams to secure and close new business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In the first three months, your success will be measured by your ability to:
· Create and build a variety of new 3D models meeting sales deadlines
· Build realistic scenarios and implement them in videos and demonstrations
· Perform accurate camera mapping of imported videos and images onto 3D models
· Create animated objects and insert them into 3D models
· Training and support of customers on the use of Fortem’s 3D tools
· Up to 10% of international travel is required
Qualifications:
· Technical Diploma in CAD, Computer Graphics or 3D Modelling or equivalent professional experience
· Direct experience with 3D Studio Max, Adobe Photo Shop, Adobe After Effects or equivalent, Mental Ray, and V-Ray
· Experience importing and adapting external data such as AutoCAD files, satellite imagery and customer supplied data in multiple formats
· Experience with video formats and compression engines/techniques
· Willingness and passion to learn new tools, technologies and practices
· Experience with real-time 3D constraints, 3D texturing and 3D lighting
· Ability to speak several languages. English is essential given our international market exposure.
· Portfolio of relevant experience
· Valid passport
