Zbrush and Maya

Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post to, but I need some help with Zbrush to Maya transfers
I am making some weapons for a indie game and I have the details nicely sculpted in Zbrush. In Maya I properly arranged the UVs and normals before I exported to zbrush.
The problem is that when I try to apply the zbrush normal maps, there is those ugly black edges on the maya low poly model.
I've tried exporting zbrush normal maps and applying, as well as Maya transfer map baking.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks
