A friend of mine can't make posts in polycount

Hi there, I come here asking for help. I am not new to polycount but I have never experienced something like this.
A friend of mine just recently registered on polycount. The weird part is that he never received the welcome PM and when he tried to make his first hello post he got an error that says he doesn't have enough privileges. Any advice on this?

You should send a PM to an administrator with your friend's username and an explanation of the situation. They should be able to clear it up.

he probably needs to activate his account using received email? Not sure though if Polycounts sends these emails
