R&D - Topology and Female features

Hi! I decided to push away from sculpting for the traditional approach so that I could get the full experience. This is my first time managing my topology as I've done, but I want to take it farther. I've found CGI and VFX such an interesting area to explore and just want to make my works more accessible, functional and believable of late.

There's so much that I can do here. I know the bottom of the eye's opening should be moved a bit more forward so that it can lay over the curving eyeball. I'm gradually becoming better with things and am just wanting an opinion or some feedback on some of the common, but often missed spots that add a certain difference to the model.

Also, might I ask a few questions if you all don't mind?

I. How do you all approach differences in topology changes? I often disconnect the areas and establish a boundary of how many edges flow threw either part so that I don't get too many of them flowing around and adding creases. I ask this because I'm going to be plotting out the ear soon and just wanted to understand other people's workflows when dealing with these scenarios.

II. I'm only focusing on the head at the moment because it's my problem spot. I've been studying the torso and arms, including the muscles and bone arrangement. Is it wise to continue on this path? It's only been a few days but I just to establish some ground before I move to the next area. I have a very ADD attitude and tend to jump all over the place.

III. Are there too many poles in the face at the moment and is there maybe a possibility of refining this topological layout? If seen, would you mind marking some down?

IV. Should I continue on with this fractured lesson or continue down to the torso and so on? Is this more than enough?

Also, here are just a few of my past studies ranging from Nov.2013 to current year.
