Hi guys !

Here is my latest personal work, a tribute to "Neon Genesis Evangelion".

My work is based on the recent "rebuild" design from the last OAV and inspired by the Medicom Toys.

I modeled the "Eva-01" in Zbrush and Maya, I made the retopo and Uv's in 3Dcoat, baked with Xnormal, textured with Photoshop/Ndo/Ddo, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2.

I just got done watching Eva a couple months ago, fantastic work! I was considering doing NERV headquarters for a self project a while ago, stuff in the EVA universe is really awesome!

Very nice, when I saw the title, had had to some take a look. I love it. If there was one thing that could be done to make it better, finding some way to incorporate a level of detail that would give it a sense of the scale.
It looks great, just, not big.

I really like it, but I have to agree, it does not look huge. I think at least a small part of that is your edge treatment. It looks worn off like - yeah... something the size of a human. Wear and tear on large objects looks different. Look at huge planes and buildings. I guess its more about rain draining down the sides and dirt than chipped off paint.

This is way too much wear and tear, but you should see what I'm talking about.

You could also add some atmosphere to your renders. Just some air - he is huge, there can be some atmospheric perspective.

Going back to the scale, you could also get rid of the NERV logo at the bottom and do some basic buildings/trees etc. to help show the sheer size of Unit 01.
