Thanks guys, its a real pleasure to make stuff for dota. When I first started doing game art I was playing Warcraft 3 so this is like things going full circle

Fantastic work! Spacemonkey, although I'm doing concept painting aswell (which doesn't come close to yours), I would love to learn more painting in similar sense to your style, do you recommend some learning materials for me? I admire your painting. It's fucking great.

Really great stuff. I know its too late but styles where you could choose the color of the greevil suit would be sweet.

darkkyo having multiple styles is a nice idea - to be honest I am never sure were valve stand with this stuff. Are there many items/couriers/sets which have done this?

Styles give the customer more freedom with their item.
More styles = more buyers.

GhostDetector, are there any examples of workshop couriers with multiple styles? Its an interesting idea, so it would be nice to look at successful examples

The only items in the store right now (that I can think of) are Pior's Wolf set for Sniper.

there are plenty more sets with styles, 2 of our sets have styles for their hat slots

its just a seperate upload, extra texture or seperate mesh or extra mesh with extra texture, its completely independent

In the workshop.
There's carty, beaver knight, cats.

There are a lot of singles/set items that have multiple styles too.

Basically, having multiple styles make it seem to the customer that they are getting more of what they paid for since most other couriers/items do not have the option of changing styles.

Hi all its been a what seems ages since Mop and I started this guy but we just finished wrapping up our latest courier, WiK (Renamed after Neox pointed out the last name was not going to go down well in Germany).

He's a little fun and silly like a courier should be, so I am quite happy with him.

oh man, came out great. Almost forgot about this guy! The only thing that throws me off is the way he jumps with his rare idle. It seems like he's just going upwards without any sort of push ? I see one of his feet bending but it feels like he's weightless during those moments.

either way, awesome stuff. Voted!

Cheers bounchfx! perhaps I could have had a little more anticipation on the jump, he leans over/lowers him self, and perhaps a little pause would have made that work better.
