Hi guys!I really need your help to make my portfolio more professional looking.I curently work as a freelancer,I had some projects,I still have, but I recently had a bad review. This guy said that my work looks kind of unfinished/begginer,and sugested me your community for a good advice from profesionals.Looking at some of portfolios posted here and elsewhere,I kind of getting what he is trying to say,and it's not just under-evaluation.So,please,can you help me to improve it?

If improving in sculpting is a challenge that you are up for here is an awesome book that will help a lot [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Portraiture--Advanced-Analyses-Sculpted/dp/0975506560/ref=la_B001K8XHSS_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1393474478&sr=1-3"]http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Portraiture--Advanced-Analyses-Sculpted/dp/0975506560/ref=la_B001K8XHSS_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1393474478&sr=1-3[/ame]
Aside from this problem,it's ok?I mean layout, presentation, renders quality...
And a quick question, somehow related:are professional models texture split into regions like head, torso and legs,or just a big one for the whole mesh?
Thanks!
Keep your textures on one sheet. Depending on the project, sometimes you will need to split them up but for the sake of pipeline, presentation, I would keep it all on one sheet.
About my portfolio, should I remove the low poly environments?Still, they was designed for mobile,so they are pretty low poly, and they have only 1 diffuse texture...
Ah,and sorry for bumping my thread so often,I really need more opinions...
Use them to play to your advantage such as experience in mobile platforms.
