I currently have an opportunity for a vignette animator at a console developer in the Seattle area. We are looking for animators experienced in creating character and non-character animation for real-time. This will be for narrative driven sequences that occur during game play mainly. Job Description:
- Work closely with the Vignette Lead & Animation Director to execute the defined animation style for the project
- Resolve timeline and artistic discrepancies promptly and professionally with the Vignette Lead and Production
- Maintain and communicate a strong knowledge of innovative production technologies and the capabilities/limitations of these technologies as they relate to the project goals
- Troubleshoot and consistently present solutions to technical issues related to vignette animation
- Participate in regular team meetings
- Participate in the technical and aesthetic animation processes in order to realize the visual and user experience goals
- Participate in developing run-time animation procedures & pipelines
- Mentor less-experienced animators
