Weve got some pretty serious history here at The Creative Assembly, and were not just talking about the settings for our multi-award winning Total War series. Were now in our 26th year of developing world class video games, and were not resting on our laurels, Roman or otherwise. From a starting team of five, weve expanded to over three hundred super talented developers across three floors in our state of the art development facility just outside London. Were still growing too.
With multiple AAA projects in development, including the continued evolution of our world renowned Total War games, our newly announced and hotly anticipated cross-platform console title based on the Alien IP, the new F2P Total War: Arena, a follow up to our Unity Golden Cube winning digital Total War title, and a brand new game using the phenomenally popular Warhammer Fantasy Battles licence, theres something here for professionals from all walks of development.

Environment Artist - Warhammer Project
We are looking for a skilled environment artist who will focus heavily on the natural environment: terrain height maps, terrain textures, rocks and vegetation.
We're looking to combine this with a skill in technical art, including at least one of Maxscript/Mel/Python, and some knowledge of GPU shaders.
Duties:- Provide technical support for your team
- Work with your team to develop and support pipelines
- Develop tools for your team
- Create game assets
- Create shaders in conjunction with the Graphics programming team
Required:- Visual flair and talent
- Good knowledge of Max/Maya
- Good knowledge of Photoshop
- Good knowledge of Mudbox/Zbrush
- Knowledge of games development pipeline/environment/engines
- Love of environment creation, especially landscapes and vistas - natural (or un-natural!)
Ideal:- Proven experience implementing game environments
- Formal art\code training
- Terrain generation experience
