First tries at Sculpting in ZBrush, (Gonna try to get a tablet soon)
Dynamesh sphere, move, clay tubes, etc.....(going to add a few hours for sculpting practice a day,)just wanted to try my hand at it, alright back to modeling in maya for now.
you don't really need a tablet. i only ever used mouse in zbrush, i am used to it.
and try not to rush your sculpts in the learning phases, i used to do that, it got me nowhere. so take your time. other than that they look good for first try.
@ rino yeah I've never used a tablet in my life, but i want to mainly for health issues etc, and speed/comfort. Well i didn't rush, i was just messing around, i don't really know how to use it yet lol. But i will keep that in mind, thanks.
One thing you want to do moving forward is taking advantage of Dynamesh (http://pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/lesson/dynamesh/). When people are just starting out I see lots of large polygons or stretched out polygons that stick out, which are fairly distracting. Dynamesh should fix that for you.
Outside of that, look at the clay buildup brush. It's a great way to sculpt organic forms by building up layers.
