GrungyStudios polycounter lvl 8
Hey guys, grungy studios here. Well im about half way through my college course and decided to create a portfolio. I want to have only the best things in my portfolio so i am starting fresh. This is my first peice. It is a fair port floor saw, but in the textures i am going to make it look grungy and stuff so it seems post apocolyptic sort of.

I need guidance and help. Im trying to make sure the peices are high quality and i can do that without critiques and feedback. So please do so i would appreciate it.

This is the high poly i have so far.

And i've started the low poly even though i am not done with the high poly. Both high poly and low poly meshes are work in progress and awaiting feedback.

Would be easier to critique it if you would upload the reference you have for it and in what view it's supposed to view in e.g. fps/3rd person and so on.

First reaction is that alot of the smaller details could easily be normalmapped and the polycount seems a wee bit high.

? he left out pretty much everything that can be normal mapped
The things he put in geo should really be in geo unless its supposed to look very dated
Maybe the 4 screws on the quadratic plate, but thats about it
