Hey guys, been a while since I've posted anything. Updated my website a bit and thought I'd post some of it here.
This is some work I did on The Secret World at Funcom for content patches 1.7 and 1.8. I designed, built, and lit the scenes, but it's hard to say what assets are mine or are from other artists. The game was in production for a very long time so there's a lot of re-use. Such is the nature of production work I suppose. I worked closely with Flakked (Joe Dionisio) and Goran Josic on the project.
I'll do a couple more dumps from other projects in the next couple weeks as well.
Thanks man! There's a strong narrative focus in TSW, so building scenes that convey a lot of that to the player was certainly the focus. It's a lot of fun to do even despite (and in some cases because of) the limitations in the engine. It certainly encouraged creativity.
