Why blimp? I like weird flying transport like this:
Flying car - it's damn cool idea! (And Beyond Good and Evil is great game BTW
) Then I found good candidate to fly.
Flying "auto rickshaw" - I never saw it before. Good choice then.
Next step - sketch. Check out my 2D skills

Most of the dirigibles with hanging cabins such as yours had a fairly substantial pipe running from the gondola into the balloon; this was an air discharge pipe. Something similar to a drier exhaust hose might work well with this design.

I thought about variant without any balloon at all. Like taxi from Beyond Good and Evil. It flies and nobody cares about how does it do that.
MrNinjutsu, You're right. I'll try to fix it.
leleuxart, It's pre-baked AO & normals. I'll try to decrease AO brightness. I'm not sure. It looks fine for me already. And yes, balloon has detail normal map. There are few good detail bump maps in forest scene. I took one of them.
The most frequently asked question was a question about pipe from gondola to balloon. After bunch of variants I finally made pretty good hosepipe design.
