I haven't posted much on the forum, so hello all who visit!

I've been practicing painted textures on my own for a bit now, and I thought I could finally post and get some feedback! Currently working on a kinda shitty designed shield, but I wanted to show off my textures more.

(ignore the sides, the wood is what I've been practicing)

Looks awesome. I like the scratch mark on the second board from the top. I feel like there should be more scratches though, especially towards the center.

the textures looked much better as textures then they did on the actual model..

That's a really good start!
Your lines all seem to be pretty blurry. I wonder if sharpening them up might help them read better when they're on the models?

I changed the shape of the shield to something I little more appealing. I like it a lot better!
