Hi, I started this course the other week whilst job hunting. Very interesting course, only in the second week now but already learned a fair bit. Thought I'd keep a thread as the course progresses.

These are the models I submitted for week 1, once I get the feedback video I'll probably do another pass over them.

Those are pretty decent. What is the matcap you got on there?

Cheers. It's a modified version of the doubleshader we were supplied with. It's basically just had the strenth of the diffuse and spec lighting tweaked so the total value of those components equal 100 (the default version of the material has a total value of something like 340 so is very bright).
