Battle Axe and Tsar Cannon

Had to do these two badboys for a week long assignment for school. The Tsar Cannon had a few corners cut to meet the project deadline, but I'm happy with the way they turned out. Placed and lit in Unity.

I think these have real potential, let down by your presentation. Try marmoset is my suggestion.

Thanks for the responses. I've never messed with marmoset. Our school is teaching Unity right now, so we're trying our hands at presentation in that so that we can get a feel of what it would look like in a real time engine.

I'll definitely check it out though.

I agree with Marmoset, you can get some amazing renders using that tool. And if your looking to render real-time in a game engine, cryengine3 might be something to mess around with as well Great texture work though!

Your cannon is missing the trunnions and the mounting brackets.

If you look closely at the reference, you'll notice that the verdigris is much heavier on the top of the cannon, and falls off sharply below the mid-point as the metal curves in.

You're also missing the inscriptions & the equestrian.
