Sup Sup!

Sooo I am going to make this here TimberWolf Mechwarrior, (or Mad Cat, whatever you wanna call it) since it was basically a staple of my childhood, and even now I still think its awesome.

I think I have most of the low poly done so far, and am still working on the high poly stuff.

Oh hell yeah! I've been hoping to see someone do a kickass model of Timberwolf for a long time. It's looking pretty good so far. I'm personally not a big fan of the excess greeble- I think it detracts from the overall form.

Thanks! I agree! I have already taken away parts that are too highly detailed and its looking way better. I'll be sure to keep these things in mind

I think the detail looks amazing. the missile housings don't look up-to-detail with the rest of the mech, though. maybe adding some pressed-metal 'H' on the frame, as often is done to improve structural rigidity.

@KazeoHin Thank you! I forgot to mention, the High Poly is still waaay in its WIP state, I havent even gotten around to doing to the missile housing and the legs yet. Also re-iterating lots of details as we speak. :S

Talk about a hard surface nightmare! Feels very much the same as my work on the warjack I'm stepping through. The timberwolf was always a favorite... All it takes is 2 good ppc shots and missiles to finish...

I really dig where this is going, my only critique is I'd like to see the toes and calves beefed up a little to look more like the classic Mad Cat, they feel just a little to spindly right now to support 75 tons of Heavy-Metal whoopass.

More progress pics of the Timber Wolf. Been working a lot lately at making a much more interesting silhouette, and something of an asymmetrical shape. Bunch of sections are still in their low-poly form since they have been recently modeled too. Feel free to let me know what you think O.O
