This thread is awesome! As a newbie who can't really afford school, it's a pain sometimes to learn independently (run into problem, search online for question, wait up to an entire day or two for a response, rinse repeat).
The streamers I've watched were really friendly and I picked up on a lot of cool tips. I learned so many neat tricks that I would've otherwise never have known about!

For those who stream ... what do you do about music? No matter how quietly I play tunes in the background, twitch always mutes my audio on the resulting video so any talking I do vanishes as well.
Do you just deal with the silence or just follow a "catch it live if you want to hear music" attitude?
Depends, I've never had this problem you've been facing. Just sounds like your audio output is not being called or looked at by anything. I would just double check your broadcast device app and see what its looking at. (make sure for example, your microphone [if there is one] is not being used instead, or speakers are its first look)
Edit: looks like your being blocked by twitch for copyright uses from your audio.
I've taken a look at every twitch channel and rare are the one who have saved stream, is that normal ? I mean, It could be cool to watch stream even after the diffusion.
You have to turn that checkbox on in your account and they don't tell you that so most people don't realize. It's stupid.
The streamer has to checkbox something or the viewer?
By the way, Is there anyone using 3ds max and streaming? I'm watching Dinusty for the moment and just to watch him work is very instructive but he is in MODO. Great job Dinusty if you're reading this hehe
