Also the Starter version of SC2 is free as well, so even if you don't own Starcraft 2, you should be able to make art content for the editor and custom games.

    So, just curious but it specifically mentions Max 2011. Is is that specific where it only works with that version?

    They only list support for that version, but normally plugins work for certain ranges until an update changes how relevant features work, but that's normally not enough yearly to break everything. I'll test it out for you, is there a particular version you want me to try? I think my student Autodesk account lets me download 3 or 4 different releases.

    I'll probably just try it out. I've got 2010 at home but we use 2013 at work. It just threw me off because most plugins I've seen show a range or "must have at least this version."

    Actually looking at their forums it seems like it wont work at all with 2013 because the plugin hierarchy is different. Oh well, guess I won't mess around with it on lunches. I'll have to give it a shot with 2010 at some point though just to mess around with it and see if it works.
