I've been poking around in the hair and fur system to get some feathers on his body, but it looks like he's been growing mold. Any tips are more than welcome!
The feathers are coming off a bit like fish scales though. For a character this stylised, I reckon you might be better off losing the feather detail entirely and just running with a mostly smooth colour with perhaps a few hints of feathers here and there and perhaps a bit more detail around break points like where the legs join the body.
I think he'd probably benefit from reducing the contrast of the small pink wing feathers. Making them larger and fewer in number might work well too.
You've got a nice piece going on here with loads of personality. It just needs a few little tweaks to make it really shine.
