GOLF - Jungle Ruins

Hi,

This is my first proper post on here. Been looking forward to seeing what the next competition would be. Really excited about this.

I'm thinking an ancient Mayan temple, overgrown with foliage...

I don't have loads of free time, so won't be posting every day. Sure four weeks is plenty time to come up with something though :-)

I think I will take overthr jungle ruins idea if your backing out Dave. It was my one of my first ideas but I had dropped it because I saw you were doing it. Would you mind?

Ewing: The contest ideas are not mutually exclusive. Chances are everyone could make a "Jungle ruins" hole and we'd have 40 different Jungle holes.
If you want to participate just do it.

Hey, no worries at all. Go for it. I'll look forward to seeing it. I had to back out coz the company I work for did a golf game not too long ago. Hopefully i'll be able to take part in the next contest though.

It's crazy how this contest made everyone goes " Oh so i see you took the same idea as me" Everyone is free to do what they want

Odow - I dont think that's the case at all. I think people have a general level of courteousness. Enough to work on a theme that hasn't been chosen by other entrants.

I'm sure everyone's fully aware that people are free to do whatever.

Yea, it just seemed collectively beneficial to everyone that we diversify our entries. I think anyone would be more likely to get picked if they are the only one following a certain theme. If half the people did a jungle ruin theme, I doubt that half the winners would be jungle ruins (assuming equal quality).

Also, it seemed polite.

Either way, thanks Dave for the encouragement, and thanks to others for the "just go for it!".
