ZBrush Spotlight seems to be blocking all brushstrokes

I'm using Zbrush 4r6. When I load up an image in Spotlight on the workspace then turn off the spotlight menu to go back to sculpting, I'm not able to sculpt or paint on my model. As soon as I disable spotlight, I'm able to manipulate the model as normal.

It's been a while since I've used spotlight, possibly not since the last ZBrush version update, but I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything differently. Has functionality changed?

Hi, one thing could be to press RGB which is near the Zadd and Zsub in the top

to brush you would normally have to go to
Brush ->Samples and uncheck Spotlight Projection

Yeah so you have the image visible on Spotlight just not active and can't sculpt?
Same thing happens here, I thought this is how it always had been.
@Myclay was spot on the money though. If you do the Brush ->Samples and uncheck Spotlight Projection it will work as per usual.

Yeah I guess the issue is that Spotlight wasn't designed to be used as Ref (I guess that's what we're why we're having this problem). Nice workaround though MyClay
