I will post an update tonight. Using the havoc example I am creating a U shaped stair case that will lead from the halls above to the cavern/forge below. =D
I have also been tinkering with adding another element just before the hole to make it a par 5 if you miss the hole in one opportunity.
Get it gurrrrl! Your progress on this is great. Can't wait to see the texture work! Just curious, where do you plan on having those tracks on the right lead?
Started laying in some rough shapes for the cave wall. I wanted to see if this would even work as well as see what kinda of resolutions I can get a way with.
With two weeks to go, this will be close. I only get a couple hours a night on it, so I decided to try and get a working version in Vforge to see what errors I would run into. Really it hasn't been that bad. The course plays like it should with the teleports and what not.
Lighting still has me scratching my head, but I will figure that out as I keep working on the textures and polish side of thing.
I have here a few small updates from last week I haven't shown due to my graphics card going kaboom on saturday. It has brought me to a bit of a stand still but I plan to paint textures over the next few days while waiting for the new card to arrive.
Please ignore the tan ground texture, this was a test shot looking at resolution. I plan to do something similar but not so arid looking.
Cheers.
One of the biggest changes, I added a horn mouthpiece blockout to the top representing the beginning of what could be a fun ball drop. If you split the d, you're ball travels down and out the horn at the bottom. If you can hit this in one shot, it's a hole in one! If you can not, it will just give you a lower stroke number for sure.

Hopefully if I get to a happy state with the layout I will make a pass at exaggerating the shapes to be more cartoony. Not there yet.
Need to pull the end out a bit more to give the hole more space on the bottom next to the forge area.
Not to many, life getting in the way and all.
These updates do show where the tracks are heading anglorum.
Got a long ways to go.

I hope...
Looking cool so far!
