New Job (!!!!!)

Lets start the year off with a new hire thread, shall we!?
After a few years of working at a very small indie studio, I got a new job! weeee. Starting Feb 10th, I`ll be working as a Junior Cinematic Animator at Bioware Edmonton; Working on Dragon Age: Inquisition. SUUUPER excited about it!!!!
With that said, I`m moving there from Toronto, so I won't know anyone. Anyone here in Edmonton?!

Just 3 tips:
1. get a car (except if you're a hermit and/or like to take the bus in sub-zero temp and walk feet deep of snow)
2. get an H1N1 flu shot if you haven t yet (I assume you're still in Toronto), cuz Alberta is all out of the vaccine til the next flu season 10 months from now
3. After you're settled, network with the three other small time devs in town in case you get laid off or fail your probabtion; just search linkedIn to see who hire game artists here and you'll know which studios Im referring to

Edmonton's my hometown. Great steak and burgers. Winters suck, but the summer has tons of festivals and fun stuff to do.
