Hi
I've been testing out clay sculpt rendering, something that isn't really part of my repertoire yet and thought I would seek out advice. Clay sculpt is a private military specialist. I wanted to give him a futuristic military vest reminiscent of Crysis suits. Final render done in Mental Ray.
I was wondering if anyone can find any problems with the sculpture (i.e. lighting, proportions etc). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The inside joint section between the upper arm and forearm looks a bit odd.
The muscles are large and the transition looks off to me.
Really nice work though, I think this one is your best so far.
@Yilativ
Thanks, glad you like it!
@Walrus
I know what you mean about the color. I wanted to differentiate it from the traditional pinkish hue, but I can see it looks kind of 'vomity'
Good call on the forearms. Will probably have to fix the proportions.
Thanks for the tips guys.

Yeah, I guess the yellowish green has got to go. Pity, I kind of liked that shade .

Just wanted to show a quick update. Fixed up the arms like Walrus mentioned and changed the render material to be a more standard grey pinkish tone.
Any C&C on changes welcome!

My only criticism is the lack of 'crotch' bulk. I'm not saying give the guy a porn-star package, but even ken-dolls have a bit of a bump in the crotch: this guy seems like complete half-sphere from the navel downward.
Like I said before though, Damn, this is impressive work.
Thanks, glad you like it!
Haha, I can see what you mean. He definitely looks like someone whose had some 'lower body injury' . I'll see it gets fixed up. Wouldn't want anyone to disparage his manliness!
Thanks for the tip!
