I've only just started out with 3D modelling and have just been making shitty items for a while trying to improve. I was inspired to start by DotA and the workshop so I'm trying to teach myself, slowly but surely.
So as a newbie to this I'd love to know what your process is for making items? Favourite programs? Do you find coming up with a concept hard or is that your favourite part?

Its also help full to pop in and out of Google Hangouts and watch people, the way they do stuff and/or how you could improve on stuff!
