turning on symetry on an imported mesh in zBrush

hey guys;

so i've made this small basemesh in maya and imported it into zbrush as an .obj .How do i sculpt it symetrically?

Tool > Transform > Activate Symmetry

You can toggle this by pressing the X hotkey, but you'll still have to access the Transform menu to change symmetry axes.
