Remember intro for first Diablo 3 trailer? The fire stick and the candle?
Here, I've tried to copy that fire as close as I could.

What you don't like?
What would you change?
What you think I need to learn to be better?
All that stuff interest me.
They all look good and it looks like you have a solid understanding of how to use them.
Everything has a bit of a pre-set look to it. The blobby, volumetric smoke is something that I see a lot but lacks character. Nothing wrong with using it as a base.
The meteor bird could have a bit more snap to the animation. If the bird is just being released, he could do a superhero wing spread or a bigger burst of energy. Again, character and story. What and why is this thing in a meteor?
The fog looks good, but I think you could slow the movement down. Fog barely moves. You could also make it look a bit more unnatural with some details since some kind of humanoid is being formed in it.
How do you plan to use these in games outside of cinematics?
These are just my (personal) animation tests that I made in my free time, and that I plan to use in my new demoreel.
Currently I am doing some freelance stuff (logo animations, and that kind of things), but I want to be involved in something bigger, for example, making an effects for some cinematics... or so.. and that's why I am making new demoreel.

No story in there.
I just wanted to do a meteor simulation, then explosion, then I animated bird, and added stuff like fog, some stuff...and tried to make that background live.
Though, it came to my mind that this could probably be used for some company introduction (like those short animations before movie, or a game)
If I have a company some day, maybe that would be short intro... I don't know

Yeah.
These are zombies like from the fog. The problem is that it is only one character and one mocap animation (that I made ofset).
I am planing to do at least 3 different characters with 3 different animation (that should give much more variation), and make crowd like scene, with many zombies, and with added fog on floor.
I think I also need to fix camera movement.
I wanna show first one zombie, then many many, in some scary way.

Not planing to use those in any games, but to show what I can do.
I know this is mainly game-oriented forum, but I always welcome feedback.
Thanks again Ryan, I'll attach more test in the future, and will update these ones.
Cheers
