graphic card just died. help!!!

so my pc just shut off because the water cooler in mygtx 580 suddenly burst.
ordering a amd r9 270x 4 gb.
my question is will it work with my i7 3930k, asus rampage iv ???

short answer: yes.
long answer: if you're at the stage where you're water-cooling, you should really understand component compatibility.
the water cooler on the old card will not be compatible with the new card.

It didn't just die... it was murdered.
Be careful the killer is still on the lose and likely to strike again!
This is one of the main reasons I never went that route.

Im going for a air cooler now. I just need to dry off components and pray to god that some of them works. Im kind of screwed if they are dead. As a student i cant afford shit

Oh btw the watercooler is a hydro h80. Not gtx 580 which is my gpu
