Mudbox misses projection from PS, why?

Hello! Could anyone offer an advice on this?

I am trying Mudbox now mainly for its 3d painting and projection painting from Photoshop. However I have encountered this problem that totally ruins it for me.

Basically, I export the screen to Photoshop, paint over there, export back... aaaand it projects my strokes into wrong spots.

Here's the image that shows how it looks.

I thought maybe I messed up UVs so I did totally different model - nope, still the same bug. I tried on another model, it works fine like 7 out of 10 times I do projections, but still sometimes does this mess, making the application not useble for production.

Does anyone have an idea, whats wrong?
The only reason I can think of is that I have quite old video card (radeon HD4850).

Thanks!

Oh, took me 3 days, finally I got why does it happen. In case someone will encounter this problem:
I had my lowpoly model with optimized wireframe. That means I had some places with huge stretched polygons. It seems that Mudbox needs fairly even polygon distribution to project paint correctly.
