Not sure if many people have seen it, I just stumbled upon it today, but google released a new product, Google Helpouts.
https://helpouts.google.com/
I assume it just uses that normal google hangouts, but you can tutor or hire a tutor for almost anything, including digital painting and 3d modeling. You can schedule lessons, set rates, or offer free training, I figured both sides of this product would be very relevant to people on the forum. What do you guys think? Good idea? Bad? It seems like it could be good to get some extra 1 on 1 training or help, but could also become a decent alternative to going to school.

and you can always look up the artists and their qualifications.
Yah, that's one of the first ones I saw that really sparked me! But then I looked over at some digital painting courses and people are charging more a minute than something like a gnomon online class, which kind of boggled me in a way.
But I guess I haven't really accounted that these are 1 on 1 helpouts. So it's a justified cost increase if you do decide to take on the more expensive mentors.
Either way this is awesome, more options, another mentor hub. What could be better :P
Thanks for the share though will just look through this stuff.
