Help with High poly normal

What should be the poly count for the model that I'm using as the high poly in xNormal, or what do you use?

At the moment I think i'm using one that's too small.

There is no limitations on how many polys your hipoly should or should not be mate. That's all up to you.

my high poly meshs are usually around 1-2 mil, but the poly count can go up a lot more, as long as you can get all the details you want on the mesh and your computer can run it smoothly.
