Hey I was given a retopo'd mesh and i need the best way to round these.
I originally thought of making an outline via illustrator and then just moving the points to the outline. I need a much faster way of doing this. Hopefully something automated
If you're not worried about the density, you can take it into ZBrush and throw a quick Group Loops modification on the mesh and it'll smooth it right out.
if you have access to max you can select and relax the border first and once thats smooth relax the whole thing again with fixed boundaries. might need some rescaling afterwards to get it back to the original size. relax modifier that is.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Maya's tools, hah. If you select the border edges and use Mesh > Average Vertices you can get a similar result as Max's relax. I think ZBrush's Group Loops still gives a better result and with no tweaking.
