Hey all, I wanted to share what i've been working on. First time posting to polycount. I don't normally do characters but this was fun. I just felt like a making a cute character.
I'll share my process with you. I started with Z spheres.
Sculpted out some clothing and armor.
Retopologized in 3D coat
Now I baked some normal maps, but I didn't really like it, so i stuck with just a painted style, and here is the final result.
I rigged the model in Maya and also created a couple test animations.
