Hey all, just joined the community, I'm a 3D environment artist/compositor and am looking forward to improving and being inspired by the great info and posts here.
I've recently used catch123d to generate models and texture but the mesh is awful and the UVs are a joke so I've used zbrush to clean the mesh, retopo, uv and bake the surfacing/texture onto this clean mesh.

I'm relatively happy with the result other than the texture resolution being quite average.
I made a little workflow video to demonstrate the process, thought I'd share it with you:

This was kind of a byproduct of what I'm actually trying to do which is to use Nuke 8's camera tracker to calculate camera positions and project the original 6000x4000 photos on for extreme texture quality. The work of lining up the cameras is done so its just a matter of drawing a few roto shapes and projecting from several angles. The other option is to jump into Mari and use the cameras to project, so I'll be trying that too. If anyones interested I'll share the results when I'm done.
