I'm currently looking for a 3D modeller to work with in creating a new Space RTS game.
Everything is still being planned at the moment, but It's a game where the player gets to build there own fleet and use it to destroy their enemies. There will be different classes of ships within the game, such as fighters and battleships.
With that said, I need a modeller who wants to work on building these ships and static(non animated) objects within the game.
Currently, I'm the only one in the team and I'm a programmer. I'm not using any big game engines like UDK, CryEngine or Unity. In fact, I decided to build the game using purely C++ and directX.
This will be an unpaid position, but if things goes well, I'm thinking of putting this onto kickstarter and maybe get some sort of funding.

UV texturing
Bump mapping
Spec mapping
Knowing how to do concept art is a plus.

I am really keen on getting experience working with other artist in the industry, and just to work on a game within the industry. I am very good at high and low poly modelling and texturing, character/prop design and very good and sketching.
it would be awesome to help you out with your game as it would be really fun and a great experience. im very driven and hard working and just generally really enjoy game art.
also a bonus is that i love space/sci-fi games and that is my specialty.
