Zbrush never saves my stuff

Basically as the title says , my Zbrush never saves my brushes as well as matcaps or other settings such as backface masking and that stuff.

It can only save the UI interface. I tried searching on google without any success. Is there a way I can save this stuff?

I've tried putting into the zbrush lders , matcaps into matcaps and so forth. Doesn't seem to work.

Any thoughts?

I don't think you can save the backface masking setting. A simple solution to this would be to bring the button out from the menu into your custom interface.

Custom matcaps, brushes, and other things should automatically load on startup if you place them in the appropriate folder under the ZStartup directory, and not just the folders in the ZBrush root.
