Yeah, one of them's been a Wachowski sister for quite a while now.

This one looks like it might be a bit more of a crowd pleaser than Cloud Atlas. Could go either way quality wise though.

This movie looks like a bad tabletop RPG campaign or like some kid saw anime for the first time ever and decided to make a movie based on that. Basically if Deviant Art made a movie.

cloud atlas was realy disappointing.
i didn´t expect anything of that movie and i was still let down.

and the trailer doesn´t look too fancy either... channing tatum with eyeliner. how is anyone supposed to take that seriously?

also can´t stand that Lana since i saw that outing speech of her. whining about how hard it is to be rich and famous...

Trailer was pretty horrid IMO. Whether or not it's going to be a generic as hell sci-fi action flick, the ad didn't help it.

Also, who keeps giving Kunis roles?

its just the wachowskis now one of them changed to a girl. not that it really matters. looks pretty shitty, could end up being interesting but channing tatum with elf ears is kinda distracting. also the font they use for the logo is fucking horrrrrible, reminds me of a kids book or something.

Interesting to see some of the responses here.
I treat those kind of movies as a CG showcase. Story always comes second.

Ambitious cinema is nice but in my book anything with CG in it is pretty much a given opposite and that's how I treat it.

Maybe that's why I know I'll enjoy it

Yes, Moon is awesome, although it looks like that might have released before D9? Definitely worth checking out if you haven't seen it already.

This trailer looks bleh. I'm all for turning my brain off, but this does look pretty dumb.

i agree on elysium. after all the dumb films this year i found gravity rather refreshing though. however it probably counts more as a disaster movie than sci fi.

I don't get why everyone liked Europa Report so much. Stupid astronauts making stupid decisions without stupid explosions is still stupid.
