Best place to build the best machine

I've got students/co-workers all talking and asking about where to buy/build the best machine? My first question always is what do you intend on using it for?

I work for a small indie game company and I've purchased 3 computers from Ibuypower.com I use them for 3ds max, Zbrush, photoshop, after effects, and hours of rendering!

Now I'm curious where do other people buy there computers?

Building your own is typically the best option. It's pretty easy and straight forward, and their many guides online. If you are a large comany, I can see you going with a company that offers hardware support like Dell, but if you are a small company, or one person, build your own. You save money, get a machine better suited for your needs, you have more options when it comes to look, cooling, and loudness, learn a new skill, and are better able to upgrade or fix any problems you might have in the future.
