Hi everyone in Polycount.
I'm a CG artist from Singapore.
Was really cracking my head in deciding whether should I go for an oversea Art School for degree.
Was offered a job in other country before but was cancelled due to work permit due to the fact that I'm a diploma holder.
So, fellow Polycounters, do you think that I should go for degree and maybe some advice in choosing of school to attend.
Thanks !

If your NOT RICH a good state university degree should be good enough. And you have to work harder to get experience and networks who'll vouch for your qualifications when you try and get your visa.
Lots of outsourcing companies in your region so try and use that to your advantage. They have lower entry requirements and you get to work on multiple AAA games all at once.
But even to have a work permit for neighbouring country near Singapore, a degree holder will have a easier and higher chance of getting it.
