Are you planning on giving him a scarf?
loving the guns CougarJo and BertR !! they look awesome
I'll try to post an update on the cloths in marmoset 2 soon
You are absolutely right so I finished up the dirt a bit better
Don't want to go too extreme with the dirt tho since I still want to show the work that went into the face and textures
Wip on clothes + fixes :
Have a good night guys
Skin looks awesome in TB2!
So ! update time
I'm slowly finishing this thing up
This is a new WIP with final lighting and pose:
hope you like it and thanks for stopping by
Just try to remove the excess lighting on the hand with the cigarette and add a little smoke to it and a red light (probably in photoshop afterwards) and fix the aviator glasses,
But damn, I love this piece, Great job really!
Maybe try toning down the hand a little in post, its really bright and takes away too much focus I guess
It also seems like you belt buckle has no visual information at all, and no specular value neither, its just flat grey , but its such a nice subject
especially with IBL
I really like the highpoly, nice folds and proportions.
But to push this peace a bit more I suggest the following:
Loose this .. "scratch" on his mouth. It looks wired like a misguided z-brush stroke
give the textures some gradients. This helps a lot to break up the clean cg like look on these materials.
Relax the pose a bit. He looks bit too much like an action figure right now.
For example straighten the back or lower the head. If he should look alerted or only cool smoking-guy-like.
Just my 2 cents!
Thanks for all the feedback! its much appreciated
So I Finished it up. more shots coming soon !
Cheers !
All I really want to see are some bigger renders :P particularly a closeup on the face, one or two things I wouldn't mind seeing a little closer, especially around the eyes.
Just made a closer render:
have a nice one !
enjoy and thanks for stopping by !
Is it possible to get this pilot 3D printed ?
Building a 1/8 Scale WW1 model and would really like to ad this incredibly pilot to the display !
