My first attempt at sequential art. Done in this new low poly trend that I like, oh, so very much. Uncertain if anyone will like it at all or not. If you want larger versions than the ones posted, check out the gallery here
Based on how this attempt at narrative goes, there might be a game project in the works, see. Testing waters.
Love it! I really like the hard-edge look and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Though I think the colours could be a little more saturated, now it really looks a bit too desaturated for my taste. And I think you could afford to play even more with the silhouettes, making some things more "low-poly" to enforce the angular look even more.
Thank you for your comment, mikhga!
I'm just starting out and I am to experiment and refine to find the perfect look. The desaturation and grain is there to get a sort of old timey picture feel (The setting is kinda 1930's, you will later see) but finding the balance is definitely a thing. This is THE perfect forum to experiment and show you guys. I really appreciate the feedback.
Same goes with silhouettes. Try to do more research and just 'do more'.
Wow, this got better reception than I thought it would.
Consider me very encouraged to strive to do more and do better.
It's rendered in Marmoset Toolbag, actually, but I do A LOT of Photoshop work after (Well, I use Gimp. Don't have money for PS) Marmoset 1.1. Being a student, I can't afford the 2.0 upgrade. Gotta buy insta noodles and rice instead.
And oh, I feel legit guilty sargentcrunch.
I'm working on touching up these pages based on feedback. For the time being it's about blurring the raindrops a bit and that metal-work as well. I just noticed it when I switched screens (The one I usually use is old and dark)

Other than that I'd really like see more of this!

This looks awesome though!
Thanks, though. It's good to have a project for once I am just doing for fun.
Usually, there's something specific expected of the product.

Two new pages! Yay! Experimenting a bit with lighting. It's gonna start making a bit more sense as this is a bit In Medias Res.
