Sooooo, I decided to finally start one of these up. Up until now I have just been keeping progress through
Tumblr but I would like some crits and a more official place to keep track of my progress.
First thing first, a sculpt I did for a 3D print challenge at college. I spent 1.5-2days working on this and it was heaps fun until my wacoms cord gave up (cat nibbles.

This one is also a re render of a 3D print that got done for EB expo and was used for some marketing purposes at my college
This one is a re render of a speed sculpt I did sometime last year
45minute speed sculpt of Frankenstein's monster
and finally this one, I really enjoyed working on this guy, I did him just before the new year then the comic con challenge rolled out and I put him on the back burner for a while.
For the demon I had a friend give me a couple of keywords, this time they were beady eyes & big jaw.
I can understand using .pngs for images of fully textured presentation shots or texture sheet images, or in my case I usually do it for paintings (not sketches) so brushwork gets through, but most of these aren't benefiting that much from the format.
The last one you uploaded seems an appropriately large .jpg, plenty of detail for those that might want it and not a 3MB image.
Keep up the good work.
Spent too much time in Diablo so I did this quick sculpt to get in to the swing of things, stuff should be getting busy soon with work too!
Really cool batgirl
Been working on this a little in my spare time, still a WIP at the moment but the next time I upload in the Sketchbook will be the finished one.
Some renders are done in Keyshot though
A few things still need to be done call this one done.
Made this character today in a few hours in a google hangout with a couple of friends, I feel like I should go play a korean MMO or something now =P
Side view looks like she will tip over! >.<
