Making this Diffusal Blade Dagger for Riki, wondering if i should make any adjustments to the siloutte or overall shape of the model before doing my sculpt and texture.

    I also had this item in mind but I didn't spend much of time on it (yet)
    Your overall form needs a lot of enhancement. you will need more clear and sharper edges on the blade and a new handle.
    And your texture doesn't really look like diffusal blade's texture.
    This is a nurbs model that I did using rhino (it might be helpful):

    This was just a test for the shape (readability?) for the dagger, thats why i put the shape lines on the texture.

    You're advise for a sharper looking blade makes a lot of sense, it kind of looks like its made out of cardboard atm heh.

    Youre handle looks good, but rikis model is very small and the details on the handle would probably be lost.

    As my in-game shot shows, a lot of Rikis weapons details just are too small to be seen.

    Not sure if particle effects are allowed to be added for heroes who dont have them though. It would certainly help it stand out.
