Environment Artist
Nerve Software is looking for talented local artists to work on-site at our Dallas based studio. Currently we have positions open for 3D/Environmental artists with experience in prop creation, lighting, environment decoration, and tileable textures.
Position Requirements:
Experience creating Environmental art
Proficiency at both hard-surface and organic modeling
Excellent texturing skills
Efficient UV layout skills and strong unwrapping ability
Extensive knowledge of the following: 3DS Max or Maya, ZBrush and Photoshop
Portfolio showing digital sculpting in a range of art styles
Possess the ability to accept direction and professional criticism
Technical confidence when confronted with process obstacles
Self motivated with strong organizational skills
Flexible to change and able to work under pressure
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the team
Background in traditional art techniques a bonus
Additional experience with any of the following is a plus:
Particle FX creation and editing
Max or Maya Scripting
Conceptual design
Video editing
User Interface design
Animation
Level design or editing
