This is as far as I go with this month's challenge. I hope you like it, and hope that the packages linked here help the amazing people on Polycount. Very excited for next month's concept
Been a bit busy with family during the holidays, here's what I have atm. I will finish this soon! I'm currently texturing the rope, fixing up the alpha on the hanging rag, import the lamp and I plan to add in the table at the back and the sleigh. Also have to fix the light map on the suitcase...Hopefully I can add in some snow with vertex painting whether it be before or after the deadline.
@tkfxity While I'm not working on this scene, I'd like to say that I would personally get rid of the body bag, as it does not fit the scene well. It kinda just feels thrown in there.
@Higuy- You are right, the body bag adds nothing to the scene and further clutters up the area.
Things I changed/added:
Made the glass material for the window have a frost effect
Added Vertex painted snow to the floor
Removed the bodybag/blood combo
Touched up on the lighting
Added Suitcases
@tkfxity- Looking good! For crits I find myself looking at the suitcases a lot. I think the bright pastel colours really make it stand out and could be toned down a bit, they also seem to just be one plain colour? I think adding some texture work would add to it. I'm liking the window effect you added! Very frosty
Ok, so added snow, lamp, rag, rope, table and more clutter. Will be adding more.
I'm finally finished. There are some things I would like to tweak and add, but for now I'm calling it done. Any comments and crits are welcome as always.
mmrashad: Looks pretty good, but its a lot of brown. your scene could use some other colors to add a little variation (like the heater and sled) Also your lighting is a bit dark and could use some work.
DEugenio: Great looking scene. My only critique would be that the highlight on the ground from the window is a bit strong and washes out the color on the floor. Also your suitcase looks very blocky compared to everything else.
*edit* @McFearson- Ah I JUST saw your comment now, posted near the same time... Yea your definitely right about the light from the window, I'll touch that up and I'll also see what I can do with the suitcase. Thanks for the crit, Appreciate it!

PS: I vote the image below for next month's challenge.
Crits very welcome!

Scene so far:
My reccreated scene, after I accidently deleted all engine files.
I need to add snow to floor, and maybe some glass bottles.
I reduced amount of unique textures to one. Lantern is now using tileable metal. It's so small that it is pointless to make unique texture for it.
Ok, so added snow, lamp, rag, rope, table and more clutter. Will be adding more.
Crits always welcome!
Yeah, due to being busy and Christmas I'm picking it with some help from the skype group.
Is there a thread with voting on the concept somewherE?, i've tried searching for it, but i havnt been able to find it.
Happy new years!
