Hi Polycounters,
I've been lurking here a long time and thought it was time to introduce myself and share some work. I've been doing game art as a student/hobbyist for several years and more recently as a freelancer/TA. I am working on my skills to hopefully land my first studio position in the near future.
This is the first weapon I've created and I have learned an incredible amount from seeing this through to the end. It will be part of my online portfolio when it is finally ready for presentation (currently offline!)
I should say that this is a bit of a mish-mash of various references I found which I combined according to taste. It is not an attempt at being 100% faithful to the real world designs.
