New PC Monitor Advice?

Hey Guys,
The time has come for me to spend out on a new monitor since ive finally been able to update my rig \o/
Just to make it clear, im looking for a monitor that is more for art rather than games, a good balance would be good, but way more so art.
Ive been eyeballing quite a few monitors but the ones that stand out to me, or which seem good from my uneducated eyes on monitors is this Asus one.

For the price it seems good? Ive seen this dell one:

that everyone raves about but it came out a couple of years ago now and is possibly out of date compared to the Asus one i linked?
I have no idea what the difference is between a 1000:1 and a 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio means but usually the higher the better i think?
I dont know so any advice would be super appriciated!
